1. You must have the exact same wheels (not previously plated) to send back to us.

2. You must ship us your non-plated wheels in exchange for our PVD chrome wheels. We must receive your wheels with 14 days from the day you receive our chrome wheels. 

3. Your wheels cannot be previously repaired, reconditioned, machined, refinished, welded, or chrome plated, have any major curb damage, or be out of round.

4. We require a refundable deposit when shipping our wheels first. We receive your wheels and refund your deposit. Generally, if your wheels are in good condition we will refund 100% of your deposit within 5 business days of receiving your wheels.

PVD Wheel Care

    Just like the paint on the hood of your vehicle, PVD coat has a clear top coat applied, and proper care must be taken during normal cleaning. Just as you would wash a clear-coated vehicle with a constant supply of clean fresh water, PVD Coated wheels must be washed with plenty of fresh, flowing water. Contaminants such as brake dust or dirt may scratch the wheel if they are wiped from the clear-coat without the presence of fresh water.  After cleaning, a coat of protective wax that is "Clear Coat Safe" will help to preserve the finish. If minor scratches or swirl marks do occur, they may be removed by using a high quality fine polish, or scratch remover that is "Clear Coat Safe".

NEVER use chrome polish or any aluminum polishes that have abrasives.

NEVER spray cold water on hot or warm wheels; this can result in damaging the appearance permanently.

Use caution around automatic car washes, due to their use of bristle brushes or acidic preparations that are used to remove wheel soils.

Black Diamond Wheel's Black Chrome is a unique look not possible with traditional chrome plating. The BDW Black Chrome PVD process has all the reflective quality of chrome but with less of a “BLING” factor. The color is very consistent but the wheels reflects differently with each different wheel design, plus with PVD you get better coverage than traditional chrome plating.
